Job Summary
PART-TIME & FULL-TIME SEASONAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE

The Loader Operator operates heavy equipment such as a John Deere 930 Front End Loader with a twelve-foot push box used to clear parking lots roadways and related areas after a snowfall ice event or other weather requiring snow removal to ensure safe driving parking and walking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following other duties may be assigned)
- Primarily operates front end loader while also being available to operate snowplow pickup truck sanding/salting truck and other equipment such as skid steer and ToolCat to remove ice and snow from roads parking lots walkways and assigned areas which require early morning starts extended hours and weekend duty including holidays.
- Performs routine equipment maintenance/repair tasks such as checking and changing vehicle fluids fueling greasing etc.
- Inspects equipment on regularly scheduled basis. Complies with safety precautions.
- Follows all safety rules policies and regulations. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Record time and locations of plowing operations.
- During spring summer and fall the Loader Operator will have responsibility to work with the general road crew and other crews involved in earthwork maintenance and construction of facilities and storm water management.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Must have valid Vermont Drivers License and be able to meet requirements of Jay Peak Resorts automobile insurance policies.
