Job Summary
TurnaroundScheduler
RoleDescription:
Position develops adetailschedule of turnaround activities forvariousresourcesincluding equipment and materialsaccording toschedules andwork lists.Positioncommunicates and coordinatesschedulingactivitieswithplanning andexecution coordinators.
Job Responsibilities:
Interact directly with operations and planners to develop pre-shutdownshutdown start-upand post start-up
Schedules using Primavera scheduling toolor equivalent
Work directlywith turnaround management
Develop pre-turnaround schedules
Meet daily with execution resources to update overall schedule
Generate new shift schedule andthreedaylook-ahead schedules
Analyze overall work progress impact on schedule
Analyzeimpact ofadded work/scope on overall schedule
Monitor progress on milestones and critical path compliance
Report schedule progress/impacts to turnaround management
Track resource compliance with plans and budgets
Verifyno addition workisaddedto schedule unless approved by turnaround procedures
Manage tracking ofturnarounddeliverables andverifyfinal deliverables areretainedby document controls
Assistin the development ofwork packageand track the issuance of packages to the schedule
Contribute todaily/weekly/monthlyturnaroundforecasting
Communicatescheduling deviations tocost engineering
Post turnaround
Update schedule with final changes
Archiveschedule and other related documentsper Valeros turnaround procedures
Document lessons learned
Qualifications &Skillsfor Success:
Minimum5years ofexperienceasaturnaround scheduler in petrochemical industry
Minimum5yearsofexperience working with Primavera andMS Project scheduling tools
