General Purpose:
This exciting highly impactful position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art medical device manufacturing site! Due to an internal promotion Flex is seeking a full-time manufacturing automation specialist to maintain and program robots set up cells and handle troubleshooting. This person will also be responsible for specifying designing and maintaining automation equipment and tooling.
Principle Accountabilities:
Set up and maintain cells.
Teach automated manufacturing robots.
Cross train operators and maintenance team members.
Troubleshoot and improve automation.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Schedule maintenance and preventative maintenance on machines.
Fix breakdowns or schedule OEM calls.
Work hours: M-F regular daytime business hours
Travel: very minimal to almost no travel.
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE ETC.:
Bachelors Degree NOT required.
Must have at least 5 years of industry work experience from a medical device manufacturing company (or similar) which utilizes high-speed automation.
Must have experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated manufacturing robotic equipment and machinery setting up and maintaining automation cells etc.
Experience required in troubleshooting and maintaining the following equipment: CNC milling machines CNC grinders CNC sinkers CNC hole poppers ID/OD grinding machines water grinders surface grinders CMM equipment automation cells.
Above work experience with any of the following brands is highly desirable: Mazak Makino Yasda Roeders Mikron Moore Okamoto Mitsui Mitui Seiki G.F. Machine Mitsubishi Sodick Belmont System 3R Erowa Zeiss Hurco Amada Kellenberger Studer Nakamura.
