About the role
As the Senior HR Business Partner for Prime Video Product and Design youll partner directly with PV executives who are reshaping how millions experience entertainment. Youll be more than just an HR leader youll drive organizational capability that ultimately leads to business impact. Youll identify and drive the highest impact people initiatives - from organizational structure operating models and decision rights to driving culture and shaping an engaged workforce that embraces AI and the future of streaming.

Your experience should demonstrate success in driving change at scale with a track record of guiding senior leaders through complex organizational challenges. The role demands someone equally comfortable analyzing workforce metrics as they are ideating how AI adoption can drive the business forward or advising senior leaders on sensitive topics. Youll act as strategist coach and innovation partner all in service of building the teams that will define the future of entertainment. A day in the life
Start your morning collaborating with executive leaders on strategic workforce planning
Partner with recruitment to design innovative hiring strategies for critical roles
Attend a Personalization & Discovery business meeting to deepen understanding of the long-term vision and talent needed to achieve it
Develop a culture plan to drive AI-first operating models high performance leadership and excitement for the overall vision
Coach leaders through organizational changes and growth opportunities
Analyze attrition and engagement data to develop targeted retention initiatives
Whiteboard with executive leaders on an ML-excellence framework for Prime Video
Meet with compensation to discuss strategies that reward excellence and innovation
About the team
The role is part of the Amazon People eXperience and Technology (PXT) organization we build a workplace for Amazonians to invent and deliver on behalf of customers. PXT for Amazon Entertainment supports a portfolio of entertainment businesses that span film TV live sports music podcasts games audiobooks livestreaming and other media content.
You will be part of the PXT team that partners with our Technology Science Product and Design organizations in Prime Video. At Prime Video were not just streaming content were revolutionizing how millions of people worldwide experience entertainment. Our Product and Design team is a dynamic group of innovators who believe in pushing boundaries challenging the status quo and partnering strategically with HR to drive results.
5 years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role or equivalent experience such as organizational consulting
Bachelors degree from an accredited university
Strong business acumen and curiosity; ability to craft talent strategies that drive business impact
Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to influence and coach senior leaders
Strong analytical skills including ability to deep dive data surface insights and build recommendations that have measurable impact
Strong executive facilitation and writing skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with HR COE partners to deliver integrated support and partnership to the business
Ability to thrive through change and embrace the future with optimism including leveraging GenAI to drive positive impact for employees
Experience partnering with executive-level technical and creative leaders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
