What youll do

This role is combination of operational delivery & engineering leadership in our Gaming Services Technology (GST) team. Youll be the driving force behind high-quality tech solutions that fuel our MAX business. More than a people manager youll be a mentor strategist and hands-on problem solver who inspires your team to innovate automate and continuously improve.

Youll own delivery outcomes champion platform health and guide your team to bring our GST tech to life all while making sure compliance security and resilience are baked into everything we build.

In this role youll:

Lead coach and mentor a cross-functional GST team of approximately 7-9 people building capability confidence and careers.
Drive delivery excellence: from product roadmaps to enhancements incidents and everything in between.
Champion continuous improvement automation and agile ways of working.
Keep product and platform health front-and-centre resolving root causes not just symptoms.
Partner with stakeholders to prioritise work manage risk and deliver on big initiatives.
Create a culture of inclusivity growth mindset and courageous conversations.
Ensure our products meet industry standards security controls and compliance obligations.

What youll bring

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or equivalent qualification
Experience in supporting and operating complex real-time and highly regulated 24/7 systems and platforms.
5 years work experience in technology leadership roles with direct reports.
Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working and the ability to drive adoption within a team.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams.
Experience in creating continuous delivery capability in teams
