What you can expect to work on The Radioisotope Production Operations Senior Team Lead plays a critical role in leading production operations supporting strategic growth and fostering a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement. - Overseeing production of medical radioisotope products (raw material prep line clearance equipment setup etc.)
- Implementing and optimizing workflows schedules and equipment utilization
- Supporting commissioning installation testing and maintenance of systems
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP practices and regulatory standards
- Writing and maintaining SOPs work instructions and licensing documentation
- Positively influences a diverse team of skilled professionals
- Ensuring the onboarding training and career development of assigned staff members
- Providing shift guidance and troubleshooting support to radioisotope production operations staff members
What you need to succeed - Bachelors degree in science/engineering (e.g. chemistry biochemistry chemical engineering) or equivalent experience
- Embraces and models the Niowave Values of Teamwork Courage Integrity and Upright Zeal
- Understands how to integrate into a new team/organization appreciates the history of current state know how and when to make suggestions as well as using just the right pace to reach the improved future state
- Understands your own communication and learning styles can assess others styles and is able to find the right path to connect the two
- 5 years of experience providing technical leadership to a production team
- 5 years working with radioactive materials in a cGMP-regulated environment
- 4 years of mentoring and skill development coaching
- Strong communication organizational and project management skills
Great to have - Masters degree in a related field
- 8 years of technical leadership experience & working with radioactive materials in a cGMP-regulated environment
- 2 years of direct supervisory experience for a team of five or more
Other things to know - Full-time position
- Companys standard operating hours are MondayFriday 6a6p with production requiring 24/7/365 shifts
- This position will have regular working hours during M F with an expectation of adjusting to work outside of the standards operating hours as needed. This position may also be assigned to a shift as needed including nights weekends and holidays
- Travel between Niowaves Lansing-area locations is expected
