Position: Devops Engineer (Observability & Distributed Systems)
Location:KrakowWroclawWarsaw
Type of work: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office)- obligatory
Contract: only contract of employment
Salaries: base financial bonus

Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage observability tools likeSplunkPrometheus andGrafanafor log monitoring metrics visualization dashboard creation and alerting.
- Provide architectural and hands-on guidance to improve systemresiliencyefficiencyperformance andcost optimization.
- Work withKafkaandCassandrain distributed environments to ensure robust data streaming and storage.
- Automate operational tasks usingPythonand/orBashscripting.
- Collaborate with development teams in anAgile environment participating in analysis design coding and unit testing.
- Support the design development and deployment of multi-tiered enterprise applications usingJavaSpringHibernateJDBCJNDIIBM MQ Series andWeb Services (SOAP/REST).
- Performproduction support including incident handling bug fixing and root cause analysis in a cross-functional environment.
- Work across multiple operating systems includingUnixLinuxUbuntu andWindows.
- Interact with relational databases such asOracleandMySQL.
- (Optional) Apply knowledge ofMobile SDK languagesfor mobile-related integrations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience on similar job position
- Proven experience withSplunkPrometheus andGrafana.
- Strong scripting skills inPythonand/orBash.
- Experience withKafkaCassandra and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding ofAgile methodologiesand DevOps practices.
- Proficiency inJava/J2EEtechnologies and enterprise application development.
- Familiarity withOracleandMySQLdatabases.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Experience withcloud platforms(AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus.
- Exposure tomobile SDKsis an advantage.
