CAD Designer College Co-opJob Description Summary
We are searching for a CAD Designer Co-op to contribute to our product engineering group. This position is based out of our Advanced Technology and Development center in Detroit Michigan.Job Description
- Design by using NX CAD system
- Model simple or complex parts and assemblies as well as dependent components
- Detail drawings and apply GD&T for both assemblies and dependent components with Engineering guidance
- Develop new designs and re-designs using internal or external prints models sketches and verbal instructions
- Perform max/min tolerance stack-ups with Engineering guidance.
- Customer data management
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Must have completed basic design and CAD coursework.
- NX and CATIA knowledge/experience required.
- Enrolled in a 2 or 4 year degree program in an accredited college or university fulltime with a graduation date ofDecember 2026 or later.
- Available 25 hours each week year round
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
