The Role

We are seeking a Head of APAC People Business Partner to join our Global People Team and lead the people strategy for the APAC region. This leader will play a critical role in aligning global talent strategy with regional business priorities while providing exceptional partnership to local leaders across R&D Go-To-Market and G&A functions.

APAC is a high-priority growth region for Addepar and this role will require a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Youll serve as the most senior People Team member in the region responsible for enabling business growth scaling the support model and shaping employee experience. This leader will be responsible for building and scaling a team beginning with one direct report and will provide dotted-line leadership to the India-based Talent Acquisition and People Operations team. While the position carries strategic responsibilities a willingness to roll up your sleeves and build from the ground up will be key to success.

This position also requires experience operating in a U.S.-headquartered environment with the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones functions and global teams.

What Youll Do

  • Regional Strategy Execution
    Localize and deliver global people strategies for APAC tailoring solutions to business objectives market dynamics and cultural nuances.
  • Strategic Business Partnership
    Act as a trusted advisor to regional business and site leaders across multiple functions on org design workforce planning talent development and change initiatives.
  • Hands-On Execution in a Scaling Region
    In a lean and growing regional structure balance strategic leadership with hands-on partnership especially in areas where dedicated support is still scaling.
  • Leadership Coaching
    Act as a coach and strategic partner guide and influence senior leaders site management and local leaders to drive business and people priorities
  • Lead HR harmonization across region by aligning policies practices and processes to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Change Management & Transformation
    Lead complex change efforts in the region (e.g. site expansions org redesigns policy transitions) with a thoughtful employee-centric approach.
  • Culture & Engagement
    Co-create and drive the engagement efforts listening strategies and localized action planning to shape and sustain a values-aligned culture across APAC.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    Ensure people practices comply with local labor laws manage employee relations issues and lead investigations as needed in partnership with Legal and ER.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    Partner closely with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition Talent & Organizational Development Compensation People Operations) Legal and Global People Business Partners to ensure consistency in program delivery and localized execution.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in HR / people function.
  • An experienced People Business Partner ideally with prior experience leading people strategy in the APAC region.
  • Strong background supporting or operating within a U.S.-headquartered company with comfort navigating global decision-making time zones and cultural alignment.
  • Skilled in coaching organizational design performance and talent development change management workforce planning and employee relations.
  • Able to flex between strategic work and hands-on execution particularly in fast-scaling or lean environments.
  • A collaborative builder with strong relationship skills excellent judgment and a people-first mindset.
    Adept at using data and insights to shape talent decisions and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experienced in supporting geographically distributed teams and operating with a high degree of agility and independence.
  • A confident clear communicator with excellent listening and influencing skills across diverse audiences and cultures.
  • Ability to work in a matrix reporting environment. Will report directly to the Chief People Officer.
  • Experience with Workday as an HR system will be highly preferred.
  • Experience working with fast paced SaaS / Software Product / Fintech companies will be nice to have but not required.

Important Note - This role requires working from our Pune office 3 days a week (Hybrid work model)
