Legal Counsel: AML/CTF

About the role:

Newly created position
Specialise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CTF) obligations and compliance
Provide guidance on ethics costs and regulatory compliance
Research and develop best practice resources
Provide secretariat support to committees and working groups
Contribute to policy development and regulatory initiatives

Advise senior leadership on regulatory ethics and compliance issues

The ideal candidate:

Admitted Solicitor with a current practising certificate
Strong expertise or keen interest in AML/CTF legislation and compliance
Knowledge of practice management ethics and regulatory frameworks
Confident presenter with strong communication skills
Highly detail-oriented proactive and solutions-focused
Compliance auditing or quality management experience (desirable)
