About You
The Admissions Senior Officer will manage and assess applications for VTAC International and Direct applicants including those via RMIT Online OUA and partner institutions. This role also coordinates the assessment of credit requests from international students during the application process.
Responsibilities include ensuring timely responses to enquiries and selection decisions enhancing the efficiency of the selection process and providing accurate advice to applicants and staff regarding admissions policies and procedures. The role requires proactive problem-solving and collaborating with other teams as needed. Additionally the Admissions Senior Officer will guide junior team members in admissions principles and processes.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Proven experience delivering high-quality administrative services with strong knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
Proficiency in information and communication technologies.
Understanding of tertiary education offerings and admission requirements as applicable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity to investigate issues and make informed decisions.
Effective time management prioritisation planning and organisational skills.
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style for diverse audiences.
Other requirements:
There may be a requirement to work additional hours from time to time.
There may be peak periods of work during which taking leave may be restricted.
