JOB SUMMARY
The ideal IT Resource will be responsible for managing and maintaining the companys technological infrastructure providing technical support to staff and volunteers and ensuring that the companys IT systems are operating efficiently and effectively to support our mission and activities.
As an IT Support you will
- Oversee the companys IT infrastructure including hardware software networks and systems.
- Ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems including servers computers printers and other peripherals.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep systems secure and up-to-date.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues and inquiries.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff volunteers and members as needed.
- Respond promptly to IT support requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the companys IT assets and data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices for data protection and cyber security.
- Monitor for security threats and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate and oversee IT projects such as app development software implementations system upgrades and infrastructure expansions.
- Develop project plans timelines and budgets and ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to identify IT needs and priorities.
- Develop training materials and resources to help staff and volunteers use IT systems effectively.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on IT best practices and procedures.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems processes and procedures.
Key Requirements - What You Bring: Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
- 2 years of experience in IT support or system administration..
- Strong knowledge of IT systems including hardware software networks and security.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 cloud-based services and other relevant IT tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the church.
