The ideal candidate brings strong ICU experience proven leadership in nursing operations and a track record of implementing process improvements.
What Youll Do:
- Oversee care delivery across multiple ICU units ensuring compliance with evidence-based practices and quality standards
- Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to maintain continuity of care
- Monitor staffing resource allocation and utilization of clinical equipment and medications
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and oversee operational workflows
- Manage staff development hiring performance reviews and succession planning
- Lead emergency preparedness programs and ensure regulatory readiness
- Align department goals with broader organizational strategy to support efficient and safe care
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in California
- BLS certification
- BSN required
- Minimum 5 years experience in ICU within an acute care hospital
- At least 5 years experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager
- 4 years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Neuro ICU background
- Familiarity with unionized healthcare environments
