Process Management Specialist

Risk Management protects the firm from exposure to losses resulting from defaults by our lending and trading counterparties. The Risk Management Division is responsible for the independent identification analysis reporting and escalation of all market credit and operational risk exposures arising from the Firms business activities acting independently of business management and providing an effective challenge process.

You will:

• Participate in the production and coordinate the delivery of quarterly regulatory reporting
• Participate in process development initiatives independently and in close collaboration with the technology department
• Support management decisions across the Firm by delivering high-quality management information
• Automate data collection processes
• Participate in executing data standards data architecture data processes and requirements for the Market Risk Department and the Risk Management Division
• Interface and manage relationships with internal stakeholders within the wider Risk Management Division the Technology Division and the Front Office

You ideally have:

• Bachelors or higher degree in a quantitative field such as Finance Economics Business Informatics or Mathematics
• Good communication process and stakeholder management skills
• Basic understanding of financial concepts financial products and risk management
• Good command of Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of SQL
• Risk and control mindset

You might also have:

• Experience in a finance or a risk function is a plus
• VBA or other programming language skills (Python R) are a plus
• Understanding of Agile development principles is a plus
• Strategic and critical thinking is a plus

Team Profile: The Market Risk Schedule F team is part of the Market Risk Department (a risk stripe within the Risk Management Division) managing the delivery of the FR Y-14Q Schedule F regulatory report quarterly. The team is doing data management building calculation logic doing analysis and running controls for the Schedule F report before submission to the FRB (Federal Reserve Board). The candidate selected for the role will need to balance technical skills business knowledge process management and people skills and should work closely with stakeholders in New York.
