DevOps Engineer
Location: Budapest hybrid
Job Overview
We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to design architect and implement innovative technologies and software solutions that enhance our on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. This role will also focus on improving our software deployment monitoring and development processes.
Essential Functions
- Design architect and implement new technologies and software to strengthen our on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Develop automated systems for deployment monitoring and fault tolerance.
- Help improve software deployment monitoring and development processes.
- Provide tools and best practices to support the entire software development lifecycle.
- Work closely with the software development team and customers to solve problems and build better processes and software.
- Perform maintenance upgrades and migrations.
- Create standardized software development environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science a related field or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Docker Jenkins Bash Unix/Linux Git Artifact Repositories (e.g. Nexus) Reverse Proxies (e.g. Nginx).
- Nice to Have: Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform Elasticsearch PostgreSQL Application Monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus) experience in Go or an equivalent programming language.
- Professional Attributes: Demonstrates ownership mentality. Exhibits a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Follows Cloud-Native Application Development Principles.
