Tasks
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate SQA Engineer to spearhead our QA efforts and ensure the delivery of exceptional software products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in software quality assurance and a passion for driving continuous improvement in the SQA process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review product requirements and provide early feedback on potential quality risks.
- Write detailed well-structured test cases.
- Perform regression smoke integration and exploratory testing across web and API layers.
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and support post-release testing.
- Own the quality metrics for your team and ensure traceability from requirements to defects.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- 1 years of QA experience.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and release cycles.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira TestRail).
- Strong problem-solving debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter).
ISTQB or other SQA certifications.
