Job Summary
Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS Azure GCP)
Location: Lahore/ Karachi/ Islamabad (Hybrid)
Experience: 7 10 years
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS as the primary cloud platform along with hands-on exposure to Azure and GCP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and managing cloud infrastructure automation and containerized environments to support scalable and reliable applications. This is a hybrid role requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage scalable secure and highly available infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines automation scripts and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and containerized applications for deployment scaling and monitoring.
- Provide hands-on experience with Azure and GCP cloud services as secondary platforms.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
- Implement monitoring logging and alerting solutions for cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Conduct cloud cost optimization and security best practices reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure application and cloud-related issues.
- Drive DevOps best practices and promote automation across the software delivery lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6 10 years of overall experience in DevOps Cloud and Infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM CloudFormation and others.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS) for orchestration of containerized applications.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or equivalent.
- Exposure to Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
- Strong scripting skills in Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of networking security and cloud architecture best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch or ELK Stack.
- Excellent problem-solving skills communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience in multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience in automation and orchestration tools beyond Terraform (Ansible Chef Puppet).
