Job Description

**Job Requirements for NNP (Neonatal Nurse Practitioner)**

- You must be certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). We cannot accept other certifications like FNP or PNP.
- We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience working as an NNP.
- The job involves working at three Level III-IV NICUs (Neonatal Intensive Care Units) in the Phoenix area that take care of high-risk babies. Soon there will be six Level II Special Care Nurseries as well.

**Job Role:**
- NNPs will work with Neonatologists (doctors who specialize in newborns) to take care of babies in the NICU and to help with deliveries.
- You will work the evening shift with a Neonatologist in the Level III-IV NICUs.
- The Level II units are open 24/7 with NNPs and Neonatologists available every day for rounds and emergencies.
- NNPs will have a mix of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts which can be adjusted based on your needs and the teams needs. NNPs and Neonatologists share the responsibility for attending deliveries.
- There are no transport duties required for this job.

**Qualifications:**
- You must have a Masters Degree in Nursing.
- You must be Board Certified as an NNP (no other NP certifications are accepted).
- You need an Arizona nursing license or be willing to get one.
- Having at least 2 years of NNP experience is highly preferred.
- You will need to obtain a DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license before starting.

**Certification Requirements:**
- You must be Board Certified.

**State License Requirements:**
- You need a nursing license in Arizona specifically as a Board Certified NNP. Other certifications like FNP or PNP are not allowed. You must also have a Masters Degree in Nursing.
