RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry. RSS has been in business for over 31 years and has nearly 400 team members located in 15 states!We are currently looking to expand our team in theFort Wayne INarea.
About the Job
A successful candidate for this position would be anexperiencedmobile Trailer Mechanic with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated safety-minded enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
Benefits
- $25-$30/hour. Starting Pay commensurate with experience.
- Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.

- Overtime after 40 hours.Bi-weekly paychecks.

- **Must be willing and able to train in Kalamazoo MI (weekdays for 2-3 weeks) Expenses paid.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
- Troubleshoot repair and replace defective components.
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts including but not limited to: ABS frame body doors tires and electrical systems.
- Independently motivated professional dedicated to providing top-notch service.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
- Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
- Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.
Requirements
- Trailer Mechanic experience required.
- Outdoor mobile service truck position.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
