Per Mar is seeking a security officer for a local elementary school. This is an unarmed observe-and-report only position. Officer will not receive any special legal authority.
Schedule will reflect the school districts student calendar M-F 8 am - 4:00 pm. $19.00 per hour. An occasional evening may be required for special activities. Off weekends holidays teacher in-service weather cancellations and summer breaks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor campus for trespassing.
- Conduct rounds of school properties.
- Address persons engaging in suspicious activities and report to school administrators.
- Additional duties as requested by administrators.
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Works well around children.
- Work history reflecting responsibility and accountability.
- Must be willing to participate in the both the companys and schools pre-employment screening process. This includes drug screen and background investigations.
