This position is an exciting opportunity to take on a hybrid role that combines operations management key account oversight and sales support within the rental program. The successful candidate will not only ensure the efficient circulation and maximum utilization of reusable rental assets but also play a pivotal role in supporting rental clients developing commercial opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships across the seafood supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

As the Operations & Account Manager you will be responsible for leading operations while also managing client relationships and supporting commercial growth. Your responsibilities will include:

Program Oversight & Depot Leadership

Client Account Management

  • Maintain and oversee rental client accounts ensuring accurate billing timely contract renewals and full compliance with rental agreements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key rental clients addressing operational needs resolving issues and ensuring long-term satisfaction.
  • Track account performance and utilization providing clients with operational updates and recommendations for improved efficiency.

Sales Support & CRM Management

  • Collaborate closely with the Territory Manager to identify opportunities for account growth and new business.
  • Support sales initiatives by drafting and reviewing sales agreements proposals and client presentations.
  • Create track and manage leads and opportunities in the companys CRM system ensuring accurate pipeline reporting.
  • Provide regular reporting to management on both operational performance and sales progress.

Logistics & Regional Coordination

  • Direct regional logistics planning and execution to support the movement of rental equipment across fishing communities and processing centers.
  • Ensure timely delivery and pickup of rental equipment in alignment with fishing season cycles and client requirements.

Partner & Stakeholder Management

  • Oversee and maintain partner agreements with logistics providers service depots and other supply chain stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with industry partners to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous operational improvement.

Training & Operational Compliance

  • Develop and implement training for depot staff on bin handling inspection standards and safety practices.
  • Uphold high standards for cleanliness hygiene and equipment integrity in compliance with seafood industry regulations.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Operations Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations logistics or account management preferably within the seafood fishing or cold-chain logistics industry.
  • Experience overseeing geographically distributed teams or service locations is a strong asset.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in logistics inventory tracking and CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of sales processes contract management and client account administration.
  • Familiarity with seafood container handling standards and inspection protocols is a plus.
