The Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management in the College of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Lecturer (Lecturer TL020).

Job Details:

The Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is seeking a highly motivated professional in operations and supply chain management for a lecturer position. This is a full-time renewable nine-month appointment commencing in January 2026. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Areas of teaching may include undergraduate courses in operations and supply chain management depending on the departments needs. The teaching load is four classes per semester. Office hours and service commitments are also required.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include teaching four undergraduate courses per semester and providing service to the department and the college. On-campus and online teaching are both possible. Compensation:

The minimum starting salary for this position will be $70000 candidates can expect a salary commensurate with the candidates education related experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • M.B.A. from an AACSB-accredited institution or a Masters degree related to the field of teaching

  • Ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in operations and supply chain management

  • Professional experience in the field of teaching

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Willingness and ability to actively follow applicable safety rules and regulations including necessary training and drills

  • Ability to interact respectfully with people from diverse socioeconomic cultural and ethnic backgrounds
