The Boeing Global Talent Development & Employee Experience organization is seeking an Employee Survey Research Science Manager to lead enterprise employee survey and mixedmethods workplace research. This position will be located in North Charleston SC.

The ideal candidate will have advanced training in IO psychology or a related field strong quantitative and qualitative skills and proven experience managing largescale employee listening survey this managerial role you will lead a small team of survey research specialists contribute to enterprise survey strategy and governance deliver endtoend survey programs assist in managing survey vendor relationships and ensure survey research directly informs business decisions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of employee survey research specialists: set priorities allocate work run regular 1:1s and manage performance and development
  • Own enterprise employee survey strategy roadmap governance and a centralized repository of approved items
  • Manage the employee survey project portfolio: intake timelines SLAs resourcing and ontime onscope delivery
  • Oversee the execution of endtoend survey operations: study scoping HRaligned sampling Qualtrics configuration & QA pilot testing fieldwork monitoring response optimization and survey closeout
  • Ensure methodological rigor and compliance: review/approve research study designs sampling/weighting analytic plans documentation and legal/privacy requirements
  • Lead employee survey data science analytics and reporting initiatives: dashboards predictive models and text analytics/NLP (including LLMassisted methods)
  • Deliver concise executiveready data and insights summaries and reports
  • Assist in managing survey vendor relationships and SLAs for survey platforms and services
  • Track employee survey impact: define success metrics monitor research outcomes collect stakeholder feedback and drive continuous improvement
  • Pilot new employee survey methods and technologies to improve capability and scalability
  • Troubleshoot employee survey operational issues (data quality platform integration issues distribution issues vendor delivery) and escalate as needed
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to senior leaders on employee survey strategy measurement design and data governance
  • Travel up to 20% may be required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ph.D. in Industrial & Organizational Psychology
  • 3 years of experience leading enterprise survey programs in a complex global organization
  • 3 years of experience working with external survey platforms and service providers (e.g. Qualtrics)
  • Experience using R or Python to conduct survey data analyses

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience managing/mentoring earlycareer survey research staff
  • Experience in a user administrator role on the Qualtrics survey platform
  • Experience using SQL
  • Handson experience building enterprise data dashboards (Qualtrics Tableau Power BI R Shiny etc)
  • Practical experience using text analytics NLP or LLMassisted openended analysis for analysis of survey data
  • Knowledge of psychometrics weighting sampling design and validation checks
  • Experience managing survey platform vendors and negotiating SLAs
  • Strong data storytelling and changemanagement skills; ability to drive adoption of research recommendations at all levels of an organization
  • Experience with continuous survey research improvement practices and process automation for survey operations
