This Position reports to:

Service Sales Manager


Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for driving service-related business by identifying customer needs proposing tailored service solutions and maintaining strong client relationships. This role bridges the gap between technical service delivery and commercial sales ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving revenue targets. This Person will also be responsible for Developing New Service Business in India (Business development role). He needs to Identify new areas of Sales and New Routes to market.

The work model for the role is #Lihybrid. This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Faridabad/Pune India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Drive Customer Service (CS) sales growth across India by identifying new business opportunities geographical markets customer segments and routes to market.

  • Expand market reach by developing and onboarding new service partners while exploring untapped service business potential.

  • Collaborate with global product management marketing and local teams to develop effective service marketing strategies and materials.

  • Align with Line of Business Leaders (LBLs) and global teams to leverage cross-country learnings and integrate best practices into Indian operations.

  • Design and implement sales tools to support the CS sales team improve Installed Base (IB) tracking and enhance sales efficiency.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering (BE/BTech/Diploma).

  • 10 to 12 years of total experience with at least 6 years in Robotics Customer Service Sales and 2 to 4 years in field service for robot operation & maintenance.

  • Strong understanding of PLC systems logic field buses and robotic peripheral equipment; knowledge of pneumatics hydraulics and electromechanical systems is a plus.

  • Proven ability to work independently with strong business development and analytical thinking capabilities.

  • Adaptable to new technologies and evolving industry trends.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across regions.

  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills; assertive yet professional approach.

  • Familiarity with tools like SAP and SFDC is an added advantage.
