Job Summary
6-8 iReady Math Professional Learning Community
Description: The iReady Professional Learning Community (PLC) will support teachers with the process of implementing the iReady curriculum in grades 6 7 and 8.
Working Time:
- 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
- Meetings 1x per month for 1.5 hours each
- We will meet on mutually agreed days/times
- All meetings will be in person
Qualifications: Current 6-8 math teacher
Preferred Qualifications:
- Rich and varied experience with literacy curriculum and instruction
- Strong growth mindset and collaborative skills
- Student-centered approach to math instruction with high expectations for student achievement
Essential Duties:
- Unpack units and internalize lessons to commonly plan.
- Ensure pacing guidelines are met and review strategies to maintain a steady pace.
- Review student work with common rubrics.
- Share strategies and scaffolds to support diverse learners.
- Review assessment data and assessment models.
Compensation: $540 (1 session per month between Sept-May for 1.5 hours each session for a total of 13.5 hours)
