Job Title: Head of Retail Sales Department

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Head of Retail Sales Department to lead the

launch of our new warehouse and showroom. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building

customer relationships developing sales opportunities and taking ownership of the retail growth strategy.

The successful candidate will manage the entire retail sales journey from generating leads and meeting

clients in the showroom to surveying properties identifying new opportunities (such as retail

concessions) and overseeing installations. While hands-on fitting is not required a background in

surveying or related fields would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Drive retail sales growth by generating and managing leads

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development

Meet prospective customers in the showroom and provide expert product guidance

Carry out property surveys to assess requirements and prepare accurate proposals

Explore and establish new opportunities including potential retail concessions

Oversee installation projects to ensure high standards of delivery and customer satisfaction

Report on sales performance pipeline activity and business development opportunities

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in sales retail management or surveying (preferably within windows glazing

or home improvement industries)

Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build trust and rapport

Commercially driven with a proactive approach to business development

Knowledge of surveying processes and ability to oversee installations

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Full UK driving licence
