Givens Estates a nonprofit continuing care retirement community in South Asheville is looking for a Weekend Admissions and Marketing Coordinator to support our Health Services marketing team. Reporting to the Health Services Marketing Director the primary purpose of the Health Services Admissions and Marketing Coordinator is to plan and develop a process that coordinates the pre-admission admission discharge and follow up process for Givens Estates Health Center and Wood Assisted Living. The schedule for this position will be Saturdays and Sundays 8:00am - 4:00pm with some room for flexibility.

What youll do:

  • Maintain waiting list and communication with those individuals on the list
  • Monitor and track all incoming referrals and leads
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management system (Enquire) consistently and keep update
  • Coordinate pre-admission and approval process in a timely manner
  • Conducts tours of facility with potential residents and their family members
  • Utilize the Admission Matrix and Scope of Service tools to determine appropriate placement and ability to offer accommodations
  • Follow the denial process ensuring all clinical and financial denials have been approved prior to submitting denial to the referral source
  • Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What youll need:

  • Bachelors degree preferred with applicable sales and marketing experience
  • 2 years work experience with older adult population or any equivalent combination of training and experience while providing the required skills knowledge and abilities to fulfill the essential job responsibilities
  • Long-term care or healthcare experience

Compensation is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour based on background and experience
