Description
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a PRN Cardiac Monitor Specialist to join our team at Memorial Katy Cardiology in Katy TX.
Responsibilities:
- Performinterrogation programming and troubleshootingof pacemakers loop recorders and other cardiac devices under physician supervision.
- Monitor and interpretremote device transmissionsand generate reports for physician review.
- Assist within-office device checksand documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients on device care remote monitoring and follow-up protocols.
- Coordinate with cardiologists and other clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of device data patient interactions and follow-up schedules.
- Support general medical office tasks such asscheduling patient intake and documentationas needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalentrequired.
- Associate degree technical school certification or college courseworkin a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Minimum1yearof experienceworking with cardiac devices (pacemakers loop recorders ICDs).
- Prior experience in cardiology or medical office settingstrongly preferred but not required
- Proficiency withEMR systemsand basic computer skills.
- Strong communication organizational and patient care skills.
