Job Summary

Were looking for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to join our European client in their Athens Information Security this role youll lead a talented security operations team overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring they can detect respond to and prevent cybersecurity threats.

This is a senior position where youll play a vital role in keeping the IT landscape secure shaping security requirements for new projects and ensuring systems follow the highest industry standards. Youll work closely with other IT teams across Europe senior management and external partners to make sure security remains strong.

Tasks

Manage SOC operations tools and performance (SIEM WAF NAC).
Monitor detect and respond to security incidents.
Lead incident response and coordinate with IT teams.
Define security requirements for new products and services.
Run security tests (red team/blue team exercises).
Evaluate new technologies and improve SOC processes.
Report on KPIs risks and security posture to management.

Requirements

5 years experience in a similar SOC leadership role (international or financial sector is a plus).
Degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar.
Strong knowledge of SIEM IOCs web app firewalls and DB security.
Preferred certifications: CISSP CISM or equivalent.
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong leadership problem-solving and crisis management skills.
