Tasks and Qualifications:
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales as a technical expert to define customer needs and develop value-driven automation solutions.
- Analyze and interpret customer requirements to design tailored intralogistics concepts that align with operational and strategic goals.
- Develop technically and economically feasible solutions leveraging KION and third-party technologies to achieve the best possible customer outcome.
- Prepare and validate business cases including technical design cost estimation and timeline assessment.
- Engage directly with customers representing the technical solution with clarity and confidence during presentations and discussions.
- Collaborate across interfaces - Sales Realization Product Management Service and CTO teams - to ensure alignment and smooth handovers.
- Contribute to standardization and best practices improving design quality efficiency and scalability.
- Provide feedback and market insights to strengthen KIONs solution portfolio and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Logistics Automation or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills balancing technical depth and commercial awareness.
- Proven ability to work closely with customers and Sales in a solution-oriented and consultative way.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills able to translate complex concepts into clear value propositions.
- Customer-focused pragmatic and collaborative mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
- Proficiency with solution design and simulation tools is an advantage.
