Job Summary

Position: Quality Engineer

Location: Vineland NJ (on-site)

Duration of project: 12 months

*MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL POWER SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE

Job Description:

Ensures products and services meet established standards of quality and efficiency. This includes overseeing quality assurance and control processes
Key leader in team-based approach that focuses on finding the root cause of issues and implementing permanent corrective actions. Generate required documentation (A3/8D forms) for customers
Develops compliance plans by researching analyzing selecting and applying compliance engineering concepts approaches techniques and criteria
Understands and initiates the process steps of a Product Quality Plan.
Performing regular quality control audits to ensure both supplier and internal manufacturing processes continue to work in compliance with company standards.
Identify areas of improvement within the production and/or test process.
Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality including defect rates FAI specification and requirements.
Research and provide technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.

Requirements:

MUST HAVE Industrial Power Systems experience
Bachelors degree in engineering
ASQC certification
Process Engineering experience
Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills.
Good working knowledge of quality control standards.
Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions written in English.
