Position: Quality Engineer
Location: Vineland NJ (on-site)
Duration of project: 12 months
*MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL POWER SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE
Job Description:
- Ensures products and services meet established standards of quality and efficiency. This includes overseeing quality assurance and control processes
- Key leader in team-based approach that focuses on finding the root cause of issues and implementing permanent corrective actions. Generate required documentation (A3/8D forms) for customers
- Develops compliance plans by researching analyzing selecting and applying compliance engineering concepts approaches techniques and criteria
- Understands and initiates the process steps of a Product Quality Plan.
- Performing regular quality control audits to ensure both supplier and internal manufacturing processes continue to work in compliance with company standards.
- Identify areas of improvement within the production and/or test process.
- Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality including defect rates FAI specification and requirements.
- Research and provide technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE Industrial Power Systems experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- ASQC certification
- Process Engineering experience
- Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills.
- Good working knowledge of quality control standards.
- Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions written in English.
