Job Summary

Job Title: STARLIMS v12 Senior Developer
Location: Vancouver CA
Employment Type: Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced STARLIMS v12 Senior Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in STARLIMS Quality Manufacturing (QM) implementations with hands-on expertise in extending the product integrating with external systems and providing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and implement STARLIMS v12 QM projects ensuring optimal customization and scalability.
Extend STARLIMS product code and integrate with peripheral systems.
Translate laboratory and business needs into tailored STARLIMS solutions.
Design and maintain STARLIMS solutions on PaaS platforms (AWS preferred).
Convert functional specifications and user stories into detailed technical design documents.
Perform gap analysis feasibility studies and recommend best-fit solutions within STARLIMS.
Develop and maintain STARLIMS DCUs and REST API integrations.
Support instrument integration using middleware tools and communication protocols (HL7 webhooks).
Optimize STARLIMS performance through advanced PL/SQL queries stored procedures and data model design.
Work with frameworks and technologies including SSL HTML5 Sencha XFD JavaScript and .
Collaborate effectively with onshore/offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to STARLIMS developers and analysts.
Conduct end-user training sessions and prepare technical documentation.
Support L2/L3 issue resolution bug fixes enhancements and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

10 years of proven experience in STARLIMS project implementation.
Strong expertise with STARLIMS QM v12 Dictionary (mandatory).
Proficiency in STARLIMS DCUs and REST API Framework.
Solid experience in instrument integration with STARLIMS.
Advanced skills in PL/SQL and STARLIMS data modeling.
Proficiency in SSL HTML5 Sencha XFD JavaScript and (mandatory).
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication documentation and team collaboration skills.
