Job Description

Permanent Title: Assistant Driver Company: Venture Resources Location: Durban South Africa Contract Details: Full-time Permanent Venture Resources a leading logistics and transportation company in Durban South Africa is seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Driver to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Responsibilities: - Assist the driver in navigating and operating company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner - Load and unload goods from the vehicle ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition - Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and routes - Maintain accurate records of deliveries including time of arrival and any issues encountered - Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road - Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Valid drivers license and clean driving record - Minimum of 1 year experience as a driver or assistant driver - Familiarity with Durban roads and traffic patterns - Ability to lift and move heavy objects - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Strong attention to detail and time management skills Benefits: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for training and career development - Supportive and inclusive work environment - Chance to work with a dynamic and growing company If you are a hardworking and motivated individual with a passion for logistics and transportation we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
