Job Overview: As a Warehouse Assistant you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our warehouse. This includes receiving storing and distributing goods maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and inspect incoming goods ensuring accuracy and quality of products - Sort label and store goods in designated areas - Keep track of inventory levels and assist with inventory management - Prepare orders for shipment and ensure timely delivery - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks - Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers - Communicate effectively with team members and management - Follow all safety protocols and procedures Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred - Familiarity with warehouse equipment and inventory management systems - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to lift and move heavy objects - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Basic computer skills - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed Contract Details: This is a full-time permanent position based in Durban South Africa. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
