Job Description

Korzen Health is currently partnered with a leading physician-owned and physician-led psychiatry medical group. With a strong presence across 9 states over 55 hospitals nearly 20 clinics and 300 providers.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PAs) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join our dynamic team in beautiful Myrtle Beach SC. This full-time role offers a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient care. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team working Monday through Friday with a manageable call schedule of one weekend per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Manage psychotropic medications for a diverse patient population including those with co-occurring substance use disorders.
  • Provide high-quality compassionate care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists nurses social workers and other members of the treatment team.
  • Maintain timely accurate and compliant patient documentation in accordance with industry standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Licensure: Current unencumbered license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of South Carolina. License must be in good standing.
  • Certification: Board Certification as a PA-C (through NCCPA) or PMHNP (through ANCC or AANP) is required.
  • DEA: Must possess a current DEA license or have the ability and qualifications to obtain one upon hire.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a mental health clinical setting is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge Base: Must possess a strong knowledge base in health promotion and maintenance advanced pathophysiology advanced health assessment and pharmacology.
