HireNow Staffing is partnering with a leading manufacturing operation in Boston MA to add a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer to their technology and operations team. The MES Engineer will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations enhancing system performance and driving optimization projects that connect shop-floor activities with enterprise-level systems. This is a hands-on position where your expertise will directly improve efficiency compliance and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure maintain and troubleshoot MES applications to ensure seamless integration with production systems and ERP platforms

• Work closely with operations automation and IT teams to capture requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Support system upgrades deployments and validation activities while maintaining compliance with industry standards

• Develop dashboards workflows and reports to provide actionable insights for plant leadership

• Serve as a technical resource for MES-related issues ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance

• Document system configurations processes and standard operating procedures for compliance and training purposes

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives identifying opportunities to streamline production workflows through MES enhancements

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related discipline

• 3 years of hands-on MES experience within a manufacturing environment (pharma biotech or high-tech industries preferred)

• Strong understanding of production workflows automation systems and ERP integration

• Familiarity with GMP regulations data integrity and system validation is highly desirable

• Proficiency with SQL databases scripting and system configuration tools

• Strong problem-solving communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
