We are looking for a Cyber Operations Planner who is very skilled and motivated to join our team. The best person for this job will be in charge of making coordinating and carrying out cyber operations plans that help the organizations goals and national security missions. This job needs someone who is very good at analyzing things knows a lot about cyber operations and can work well with others in a fast-paced changing environment.
Main Duties:
Make look over and carry out full cyber operations plans.
Work with both internal and external stakeholders to make sure that cyber strategies are in line with each other.
Do vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to help with planning.
Help with incident response and take part in after-action reviews.
Stay up to date on new cyber threats and the best ways to deal with them.
Make and give senior leaders briefings reports and suggestions.
Make sure that all federal state and organizational cybersecurity rules and policies are followed.
Take part in exercises and simulations to test and improve your cyber operation plans.
Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in computer science information security cybersecurity or a related field is required (a masters degree is better).
At least two years of experience in cyber operations cyber security planning or a related field.
A lot of experience with cyber operations threat analysis and incident response processes.
Good at analyzing things solving problems and talking to people.
Able to get and keep a U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher).
It is very important to have relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM CEH and GCIH.
It helps if you have worked with the government or the Department of Defense before.
Pay by the hour: $55 to $85 depending on experience education and certifications.
