Maintenance Repairer 1

One year of experience or training in the building construction trades building maintenance maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment or as a parks building and grounds attendant; OR

Six semester hours in construction management construction technology or engineering or any combination of these courses.

Job Duties:

• Makes general repairs to and performs general maintenance to all SRA buildings both interior and exterior including cleaning/replacing filters on window air conditioners and central heating and air conditioning systems.
• Makes minor repairs to stoves ovens water heaters and refrigerators located in cabins pavilions bathhouses restrooms park offices and the administrative building.
• Assist with the installation and repair of all sewer and waterlines meters pumps and associated equipment on all lines located at six (6) recreation sites. Performs duties associated with all other utility projects paid from regular operations as well as capital outlay.
• Performs basic road maintenance by clearing drainage spreading road surface material filling potholes placing signs repairing fences and removing trees.

Appointment Type: Probational

Work Schedule: Work hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Thursday

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
