Were looking for aTest Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team.

In this role youll be part of a team of skilled individuals identifying opportunities to increase quality whilst ensuring rapid safe delivery of code to support our business needs. Working as part of an agile team youll be contributing to project inceptions story creation and refinement sessions because we know from experience that the earlier our Test Engineers are included in the development process the earlier they can add value.

We have a diverse tech stack which youll assist in managing code through our test environments and eventually into Production. Using your keen eye for detail youll identify and raise any defects before they adversely affect our customers ensuring that theyre tracked and resolved appropriately.

What youll do:

• Help to maintain and develop test automation
• Collaborate with agile teams to shape and test new features
• Support integration testing and ensure robust system performance
• Help define acceptance criteria and contribute to agile ceremonies
• Champion innovation and quality across the engineering function
• Understand and articulate risks
• Facilitate engagement between the functional areas of the business
• Manage releases to Production on a rota basis
• Not be afraid to fail but fail fast reflect and improve

What youll bring:

• Knowledge of functional and non-functional test approaches
• Experience of exploratory testing
• Knowledge of good web performance practices
• Strong experience testing web-based applications
• Solid SQL and database knowledge
• Experience of test automation
• Ability to code in an object-oriented language (e.g. C# Java)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. xUnit Selenium WebDriver)
• Experience of testing RESTful APIs using Postman (or similar)
• Some exposure to cloud-based services (e.g. AWS Azure)
• Experience of working with Agile teams
