Job Summary
RN- Med Surg (Permanent Role)
Location: Bradenton FL 34201
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the nursing process.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient conditions including vital signs and responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Adhere to hospital policies procedures and standards of care.
- Respond to emergencies and support patients through critical conditions.
Requirements:
- Active and Valid RN license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting is required.
- Experience in hospital LTACH (Long-Term Acute Care Hospital) Home Health or Rehab settings is acceptable.
- Strong clinical skills critical thinking and communication abilities.
- BLS certification (Required).
