The Litigation Assistant (LA) position is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates or young professionals to gain hands-on experience in the fields of complex international civil and criminal financial litigation. LAs immediately become key members of case teams often working directly alongside or in collaboration with the firms attorneys and balancing both long-term organizational responsibilities and substantive ad hoc tasks. LAs also support pro bono knowledge management and global business development to drive the firms practice and product innovation forward. As an LA youll work in a fast-paced dynamic environment where your responsibilities adapt to the needs of each case team. This variety offers continual opportunities for learning and developing as a professional in the legal field.
Kobre & Kim offers two early career programs: Litigation Assistant and Analyst. Candidates may apply to only one program. Please note this is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. Candidates should submit a single application for the cohort they are eligible for and prefer to join based on their graduation date and availability to start on the target date of January 26 2026. Organize and maintain case deadlines contacts and electronic files
Prepare attorney and client binders
Prepare materials for meetings court proceedings and court filings
Coordinate document delivery and logistics
Develop and implement systems to support case team organization
Review and analyze discovery and legal documents
Conduct legal research under attorney supervision
Attend court hearings and client meetings under attorney supervision
LAs have opportunities for advancement after their first year including transitioning to leadership roles specializing in practice areas and/or potentially transferringto other departments or offices worldwide. Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree from a four-year university with a strong academic record (required)
Ability to work outside standard business hours as needed including late nights weekends and holidays depending on assignments (required)
Demonstrated skills in teamwork communication organization attention to detail and creative and anticipatory thinking
Strong work ethic proactivity and an ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Professional proficiency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Arabic French German Hebrew Italian Korean Chinese Portuguese Russian or Spanish.

For U.S. locations only: At the time of posting the base salary for this role is US $65000 (minimum) US $65000 (maximum) based on a full-time work schedule. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus. The successful candidates actual salary will be determined based on permissible non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to relevant experience qualifications licensure/certifications training skills and market data.
While we try to accommodate office location preferences final placement depends on available openings and firm business needs. Office transfer requests are considered after one year of employment.
Each office follows either a fully in-office or hybrid schedule based on jurisdiction. For example our U.S. offices require employees be present at least 3 out of 5 business days per week. Office attendance requirements are set by firm leadership and/or client business needs.
