Cushman & Wakefields market leading Development & Strategic Advisory team is growing. We are looking to appoint a Senior Surveyor or Associate to join our Leeds office and support the continued growth of our development advisory offer across Yorkshire and the North of England.Job Description
This is a key client-facing role offering exposure to major development and regeneration projects across both public and private sectors. You will work alongside a highly experienced team of professionals delivering commercially driven advice across a wide range of development uses including residential mixed-use commercial and strategic land.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management of a wide range of advisory and consultancy mandates
- Advising on market research development strategy site acquisition and disposal development viability and financial modelling
- Preparing and reviewing development appraisals and feasibility studies
- Supporting the delivery of complex regeneration projects and partnerships with public and private sector clients
- Developing and appraising cases for financial investment from the public sector in property schemes
- Providing input into planning land promotion and master planning processes
- Negotiating commercial terms and development agreements
- Collaborating across service lines including Planning Valuation Capital Markets and Agency
About You
- MRICS qualified with relevant post-qualification experience
- Strong background in development consultancy viability or strategic land
- Commercially astute with an analytical mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in client-facing situations
- A team player with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
- Knowledge of Yorkshire and Northern markets is advantageous but not essential
