Department: The Office of Public Utilities

Starting Salary: $50000 and $90000 annually

Work Hours: Monday Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
In this role you will:
Maintain all aspects of CWLPs networks associated with the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) as well as the Fiber relay network VoIP phone system and various other control systems covered by the National Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) associated with Critical Infrastructure Protections (CIP) standards
Perform review of system data logs
Review and implement software patch management
Perform administrative work in the review of and maintaining compliance policies
Monitor and assist in maintaining physical and electronic security perimeters
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in computer science or a related field along with at least two years of experience in PC network administration Microsoft network and application software management and working in a networked environment. Equivalent education and experience will be considered. Cisco CCNA certification or comparable experience is preferred. Candidates must pass a background check sign a confidentiality agreement hold a valid Class D Illinois drivers license and provide proof of insurance twice annually.
