Global H&S Product Manager, AWS Health & Safety

We are looking for a manager for the Health and Safety (H&S) Product Management team who will be responsible for driving a strategic approach to delivering high-level products for the AWS Safety team Strategic team leadership and development Setting and driving team vision and objectives Mentoring and growing product management talent managing team performance management and career development

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated manager with a solid knowledge product management as well as safety systems and a proven track record of designing & improving products. They will have a history of building partnerships with diverse teams across multiple jurisdictions. The candidate must have the ability define clear requirements in ambiguity proactively educate team members leaders and other support teams and communicate effectively and consistently throughout all levels of the business. The role will evolve with the maturity and growth of the products and requires a high degree of flexibility including the ability to deep dive into time critical products and programs manage a team of product managers and deliver continuous improvement actions.

Key job responsibilities
Manage and oversee a team of product managers.
Manage and oversee multiple H&S products and tools. This includes maintenance enhancements troubleshooting and deployment of new tools and features.
Develop trusting relationships with partners and customers understanding their business needs and troubleshoot technical challenges
Collaborate with AWS Product teams Engineering and Solution Architects in the development and implementation of AUSTIN-based H&S operational excellence solutions
Identify action and/or provide advice on how using the H&S products can improve and streamline business operations to drive growth improve organizational efficiency to improve workplace safety
Demonstrate excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while using centralized resources policies and procedures
Portfolio management across multiple products
Resource allocation and prioritization across team projects
Strategic planning and roadmap development at a team level

We are looking for an analytical and results-oriented person to work directly with members of the H&S programs team Data Center Health and Safety (DCHS) teams Data Center Operation (DCO) Operational Excellence and Design for Safety Teams to focus on developing and implementing AUSTIN-based operational excellence and Organization Improvement tools and projects.

- 3 years of team management experience
- 2 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change
- Experience working with a cross-functional team across design operations and engineering team to meet high-reaching goals
- Experience as a product manager or owner

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
