Looking for full time campus security officer for 3rd shift at St Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa.
Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 11 pm - 7 am. Days off are Sunday/Monday nights. Must be available to work weekends and may be asked to occasionally work overtime.
Pay is $17.85 an hour.
Must have a valid drivers license with no more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years. No driving under suspension in the last 24 months.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor campus to prevent theft violence or infractions of rules
- Conduct security rounds of all university owned properties.
- Respond to alarms and calls for service
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Parking enforcement
- Report any facility issues
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail
- Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security Integrity Communication Excellent Service and Accountability.
- Must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
