Salary: Up to 22.50 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapydepartment.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery function and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Caseload and Prioritisation
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe effective and timely patient care.
- Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Extensive post-registration experience including complex caseload management and a defined clinical specialty.
- Strong leadership mentorship and organisational skills.
- Evidence of audit service development or quality improvement contributions.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working ability.
- Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty or leadership.
- Experience in private healthcare or leading a specialist outpatient or inpatient service.
- Involvement in teaching research or clinical publication.
- Familiarity with digital health tools electronic documentation and data reporting systems.
