Position Summary
Oregon Tech is accepting applications for Public Health and Population Health undergraduate Adjunct Instructors for the Humanities and Social Sciences ( HSS ) Department. The Humanities and Social Sciences Department is recruiting a pool of adjunct instructors for possible part-time teaching positions for the minor in Medical Sociology and undergraduate degree in Population Health Management. Specifically the department seeks adjunct instructors to teach Medical Sociology Introduction to Population Health Management Global Population Health Rural Health Current Health Issues Community Program Planning among others. Teaching Modality: Appointments may include courses offered on-line in person on campus hybrid or related clinic or lab or in an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements. Location: primary campus locations include the Klamath Falls campus the Portland-Metro campus (located in Wilsonville OR) and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online within the United States. Interested candidates should apply online and submit a cover letter curriculum vitae and a list of three references with contact your cover letter please specify those areas or courses that you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching. This pool will be accessed only when an opening or need arises. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years. After two years if you are still interested you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g. Blackboard). Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching such as Zoom Skype and Microsoft Teams.
