Supervise train and evaluate subordinate staff including professionals subprofessionals volunteers and fieldwork students; assist in hiring recommend movements such as transfers promotions reallocations or demotions; take disciplinary actions as necessary.
Plan and oversee recreation programs across multiple facilities. Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Liaise with community groups boards and partner agencies. Promote programs through outreach and public relations.
Assist with budget development and enforce fiscal procedures.
Develop and implement departmental policies and goals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in recreation physical education education or a related field.
