Job Overview
We are seeking mid-level IT Field Engineers to join our team on a freelance or contract basis. The role is based in major cities across the United States. The ideal candidate will work on troubleshooting and maintaining IT systems as part of EIL Globals commitment to delivering exceptional IT solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in Windows OS troubleshooting network configuration and hardware diagnostics and repair (Mandatory skill).
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory management enabling seamless authentication and access management across networked environments.
- CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge ensuring a solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- CompTIA certification with proven ability to diagnose and address a range of technology-related issues efficiently.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the capability to handle and resolve technical challenges independently.
- Excellent communication skills facilitating effective interaction with clients to address needs and provide clear technical support.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment while maintaining high levels of efficiency and attention to detail.
- Commitment to adhering to best practices and innovative approaches to maximize IT performance and security.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting repairs and maintenance for IT systems ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients to assess needs and provide customized IT solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Configure and support network infrastructure components aiding in the seamless integration of technological resources.
- Document and report on system errors repairs and planned upgrades to maintain effective communication with the team and clients.
- Perform regular system checks and updates to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure robust cybersecurity defenses.
- Assist in deploying new hardware and software solutions ensuring they integrate smoothly with existing systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to clients to empower them with the skills to manage their IT infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and innovations to continuously improve service delivery.
