Part Time Billable Health & Safety Professional

EnSafe is accepting applications for a Part-Time Billable Health & Safety (H&S) Professionalbased out of EnSafes client sites in Greenville Michigan.

As a Part-Time Health & Safety Professional you will work on a wide range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity collaboration at all levels a culture of support and professional growth. What You Will Be Doing:

• The person hired for this position will primarily perform health & safety (H&S) consulting services including industrial hygiene (air contaminant noise etc.) surveys in various industries (e.g. aerospace manufacturing and pulp and paper); indoor air quality surveys; health and safety written program development safety risk assessments; safety training and other similar services
• Analyze data prepare data tables reports and figures
• Contribute to written technical reports
• Travel throughout the continental US may be required to perform project work depending on client/project needs. Overnight travel is typically on weekdays only.
• Other duties as assigned
• Opportunities may be available for environmental work such as stormwater groundwater soil waste and other sampling and support services. Related experience is a plus

Qualifications:

• A BA or BS Degree in Occupational Health or environmental engineering Environmental Science Industrial Hygiene or a related scientific field is required
• 3-5 years of experience working in the EHS field. EHS consulting experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Industrial Hygiene experience preferred
• Lock out Tag out confined space job safety analysis personal protective equipment is required
• Construction safety experience is a preferred
• Environmental compliance experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Strong work ethic responsible and dependable
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
• Commitment to quality accuracy and attention to detail
• This position requires analytical thinking initiative and accountability
• Professional certifications are encouraged to be pursued
